Cats…

I've finally had the opportunity to put up some pictures of my cat, Spike. Gus did this earlier and that gallery includes several more impressive shots, including the matrix cat shot.

As far as we can tell, he's a Maine Coon cat, with perhaps a bit of tabby. We got him from the Bridgewater animal shelter where apparently he was brought there by law enforcement officers after a drug raid back in Maitland. So apparently I have a 'drug cat'. I still find that a bit strange, but everything about this cat is strange. He's not so nervous any more, and actually friendly now. He's an investigator: he has to go over every nook and cranny, smell everything we bring home, and has this strange tendency to put his feet in people's shoes. All of this provides some marvelous entertainment in sporatic bursts.

This list of characteristics almost fits him to a 'T' -- he's always following us around the house, and he's a nutcase. He makes for a beautiful window cat -- he's not liking the winter when we've got the windows closed.
