Seriously, though. It's probably the stupidest name in the world. What was wrong with 'Revolution', anyhow?

Even at half the price point of the el-cheapo PS3, I don't know if I could stomach the name :(

By looking at their website, I think the soul reason why they changed the name is so that they could start sentences like:

"Wii will break down that wall that separates video game players from everybody else."

"Wii will put people more in touch with their games â€¦ and each other."

That kind of marketing 'cleverness' will just make people hate it more.
